Soul Sessions Oslo x PRODA Workshop – Botis Seva

Botis Seva is a unique and seminal choreographic voice rooted in Hip-Hop dance theatre but inspired by a freeform approach to choreography. His work is grounded in real life and captures his own stories, as well as those around him, whilst borrowing techniques from film, text, art and other dance languages to continuously reinvent his approach to creativity and the stage. Botis founded his dance theatre company Far From The Norm at the age of 19 in East London, alongside friends who shared his passion for experimenting with the Hip-Hop form. Since then, Far From The Norm has evolved into a touring company, taking BLKDOG and Until We Sleep to audiences while continuing to develop new work.

Join Choreographer and Artistic Director Botis Seva in a dynamic workshop rooted in the signature style of his company, Far From The Norm. Botis’ approach merges physicality, theatre, and street dance vocabularies, challenging traditional boundaries of form and encourages individual expression. The session focuses on groove, physical awareness, and personal movement development, connecting dancers to rhythm, musicality, and the ways in which the Hip‑Hop language can inform their own creative practice.
