Spark To Fire

It is a worshop based on listening to others, to ourselves and to the space we inhabit. Participants will learn to train their body through different exercises combined with a high intensity workout with the aim of developing strength, range of motion, stability, speed and endurance through different floorwork exercises and choreographed sequences. At the end of the class we will do some improvisation exercises that will help to relate, connect and rediscover the different codes of movement.

Biography: Irene Madrid Freelance dancer and performer based in Norway. Graduated at the Royal Dance Conservatory Mariemma in Madrid. She has worked in different Dance Companies & theaters such as: Physical Momentum Company since 2020, Song of the Goat Company in Poland, Wim Vandekeybus, Marie Martinez Company, Dutch National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam, Monnaie/De Munt, Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse, ReisOpera, Royal Opera Wallonië Liege, Royal Opera Comique Paris, Teatro Real, SemperOper, Bregenz Festspiele, Oper Frankfurt. Recently, she has combined her career as a dancer with assisting different choreographers in various productions at the Paris Opera, Palau De Les Arts and Grand teatre del Liceu.
