Michelle Boulé

Michelle Boulé is a New York-based “Bessie” Award winning dance artist and teacher who has spent the past 20+ years exploring the relationship between movement, consciousness, healing, and aesthetic form. She is a long-standing faculty member at Movement Research in New York and has taught movement, improvisation, and creative practice workshops at universities and dance institutions throughout North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia, including recently at Yale University, The New School, PARTS, DOCH, Den Danske Scenekunstskole, and for the Trisha Brown Company. Her choreographic work has received commissions and presentations from Triple Canopy, Baryshnikov Arts Center, The Chocolate Factory, Met Breuer (with Okkyung Lee), Danspace Project, Laiks Dejot, American Realness, ISSUE Project Room, and Movement Research at the Judson Church, amongst others.
