with Charlotte Mclean
Contemporary technique – contact improvisation
We’ll work on the technique of contact and connecting. First with oneself, then with each other. We’ll practice consent within contact, involving leaving / saying ‘no’ to dances, as well as inviting connection from the world outside the studio. We’ll end with some phrases, in which we need each other to dance. If you wake up and don’t want to engage in contact with other humans, feel free to still come along – the class will be adapted to everyone’s individual needs.
