Iannes Bruylant

Iannes Bruylant was born in Ghent, Belgium. Until the age of 21 he combined a high-level gymnastics career (Top 5 Belgium) with a bachelor’s degree in Medicine (Ghent University, BE). Upon completion he joined the Bachelor Dancer/Maker program at Artez,
School of the Arts (NL). As a dancer he has worked and performed with Jo Strømgen Kompani, Nagelhus Schia Productions, Panta Rei Danseteater and Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. His choreographies have toured in Belgium, Netherlands, Norway & Germany and he was a finalist and prize winner at the renowned Hannover international choreography competition.
