DESCRIPTION:Spark To Fire \nIt is a worshop based on listening to others\, to ourselves and to the space we inhabit. Participants will learn to train their body through different exercises combined with a high intensity workout with the aim of developing strength\, range of motion\, stability\, speed and endurance through different floorwork exercises and choreographed sequences. At the end of the class we will do some improvisation exercises that will help to relate\, connect and rediscover the different codes of movement. \nBiography: Irene Madrid Freelance dancer and performer based in Norway. Graduated at the Royal Dance Conservatory Mariemma in Madrid. She has worked in different Dance Companies & theaters such as: Physical Momentum Company since 2020\, Song of the Goat Company in Poland\, Wim Vandekeybus\, Marie Martinez Company\, Dutch National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam\, Monnaie/De Munt\, Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse\, ReisOpera\, Royal Opera Wallonië Liege\, Royal Opera Comique Paris\, Teatro Real\, SemperOper\, Bregenz Festspiele\, Oper Frankfurt. Recently\, she has combined her career as a dancer with assisting different choreographers in various productions at the Paris Opera\, Palau De Les Arts and Grand teatre del Liceu.

DESCRIPTION:Viktor Fröjd is educated at the Street Dance Program at Åsa Folk High School outside Katrineholm and has a bachelor’s degree in Dance Pedagogy focused on Street Dance from DOCH – Dans och Cirkushögskolan (School Dance of Dance and Circus) in Stockholm. He started his dance path in the battlescene and has several wins in different battles and is also hired as judge. He has been teaching dance and choreography for 20 years for dance companies such as Skånes Dansteater\, Norrdans and educational institutions like SKH (Stockholm University of the Arts) and professional classes\nfor Danscentrum all over Sweden. \nHis artistic practice has progressed through a series of acclaimed and praised performances both as a dancer and/or choreographer\, produced around Sweden during the past ten years. Last year he choreographed and danced in the Duet Tracks and was also a dancer in the piece Landscapes choreographed by Anna Öberg. Other acclaimed works as a choreographer are the commissioned work Locus (2023) by the Swedish National Touring Theatre and self produced Sinnes. Festen premiered in 2021 and has been on two Dancenet Sweden tours and has also performed in Oslo. The\nsite specific performance Tillvaron by Scenkonst Sörmland premiered 2020 and the improvised performance Var Dag in 2017. \nFoto: Rebecca Gustavsson \nAbout the workshop\nWe will start the day together through pulse and rhythm with techniques and concepts based in house dance. The aim is to release\, expand and get deeper into our body\, mind and soul. SUMMARY:Musikaldans - Søren Thøgersen
DESCRIPTION:Musikaldans – Søren Thøgersen \nSøren ble uteksaminert fra Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo i 2005 med en bachelor i Jazzdans. Han har jobbet som musikalartist i musikaler som Spellemann på taket\, Singin in the rain\, Annie\, Jesus Christ Superstar og Wicked. Danseforestillinger i regi av Checked Baggage Company\, Moving ART Dansekompani\, sART Danseteater(dk)\, Bårdar Dansekompani m.fl. Turneer med kulturell skolesekk(dk) og jobb med TV som Mgp\, reklamer og film. \nHan har hele veiene drevet med undervisning parallelt. Søren startet som jazzlærer på Bårdar akademiet i 2007 og derfra gikk reisen ut i verden videre til Danselinjen på Numedal folkehøgskole\, Det Kongelige Teaters Balletskole(dk)\, Street Style Studio(dk)\, Oure efterskole(dk) og Gymnastikhøjskolen i Ollerup(dk). Etter retur til Norge tok Søren PPU på Kunsthøgskolen og har siden undervist på nettopp KHiO\, samt Kristiania (Bårdar)\, Kirkenær Ballettskole og denne våren hos KBG Dans & Ballett. \nSøren er dansk og kommer opprinnelig fra turnmiljøet\, så det kan forekomme litt sprett og moro i klassene og partnering/akrobatikk er gøy. \nKlasseinnhold: Klassene har et mål om å fremelske bevegelsesglede og det lekne menneske samtidig som teknikktrening er basen. Vi skal møte hverandre\, ikke bare i speilet\, og sammen skape det øyeblikk av tilstedeværelse i kropp\, musikk\, rytme og rom som er dansekunstens magi. Helt lavpraktisk betyr det at vi skal ha en god jazzoppvarmning med litt sprell og samarbeide og så vil de fire forskjellige klassene variere i hvordan musikalsjangeren tolkes i en kort koreografi. Musikaldans er ikke låst i en bestemt dansestil men fri til å leke for å få rett stemning og historie frem. En teaterklasse blir det ikke men det er alltid lov å synge med og kjenne på og trene musikaldanserens evige utfordring – puls\, pust og tone.
