I tillegg er hun opptatt av bruk av pust og nyansering bevegelsesmessig og musikalsk. Ulike tempi i musikken i de enkelte øvelser brukes for å bevisstgjøre og utfordre\, for å stimulere til mer musikalsk fleksibilitet. \nSissel er opptatt av å gi inspirerende klasser som inkluderer alle og gir trygghet/rom for individualitet og personlig tolkning. In the classes\, you dance by listening to your own body through various questions. The questions prompt the dancer to find an alert and present way of creating both movement and choreography in relation to the whole environment – space\, other dancers and the (imaginary) audience. \nNevanlinna is one of the very few\, who are permitted to give workshops based on Deborah Hays practice. She’s been giving these workshops in Montclair State University New Jersey\, University of California Berkeley\, University of California Los Angeles\, University of the Arts Helsinki\, Henry Jurriens Foundation Amsterdam\, Zodiak – Center for New Dance Helsinki\, Tanssille ry Helsinki\, Riveria Outokumpu\, Tanssivintti Helsinki\, Tanssila Helsinki\, Kartoitus-festival Helsinki\, Virgiinia Helsinki.  \nVera Nevanlinna has worked regularly with Deborah Hay since the year 2007 in five different productions: News (2007)\, If I Sing to You (2009)\, Lightening (2010)\, Figure a Sea (2015)\, Animals on the Beach (2018). Since 2015\, Nevanlinna has also been a guest dancer at Cullberg in Deborah Hay’s choreography Figure a Sea. DESCRIPTION:Sustainable Dance Training er et samarbeid og utveksling mellom våre søsterorganisasjoner i de nordiske landene; Danscentrum Stockholm (SE)\, Dansehallerne (DK) og Tanssille ry (FI).\nVera Nevanlinna fra Finland er en av de fire unike kunstnerne som er plukket ut til denne nordiske undervisningsturnéen. \nClass description:\nIn Vera Nevanlinna’s classes\, we familiarize ourselves with American choreographer Deborah Hay’s «Practice of performance» and small choreographic structures. In the classes\, you dance by listening to your own body through various questions. The questions prompt the dancer to find an alert and present way of creating both movement and choreography in relation to the whole environment – space\, other dancers and the (imaginary) audience. \nNevanlinna is one of the very few\, who are permitted to give workshops based on Deborah Hays practice. She’s been giving these workshops in Montclair State University New Jersey\, University of California Berkeley\, University of California Los Angeles\, University of the Arts Helsinki\, Henry Jurriens Foundation Amsterdam\, Zodiak – Center for New Dance Helsinki\, Tanssille ry Helsinki\, Riveria Outokumpu\, Tanssivintti Helsinki\, Tanssila Helsinki\, Kartoitus-festival Helsinki\, Virgiinia Helsinki.  \nVera Nevanlinna has worked regularly with Deborah Hay since the year 2007 in five different productions: News (2007)\, If I Sing to You (2009)\, Lightening (2010)\, Figure a Sea (2015)\, Animals on the Beach (2018). Since 2015\, Nevanlinna has also been a guest dancer at Cullberg in Deborah Hay’s choreography Figure a Sea. DESCRIPTION:Informasjon om workshopen (krever påmelding): \nThe workshop will focus on the process and material of Navy Blue by Oona Doherty\, given through the perspective of Hilde Ingeborg Sandvold – freelance dance-artist in the cast of Navy Blue. \nWe will start with «drills for skills» – basic work that gets you warm and ready; checking balance\, mobility and coordination through practical exercises and simple floor-work in short phrases. \nThereafter\, we will learn some set material\, and lastly\, an improvised score\, both from Navy Blue. The materials will give us a chance to practice physical ability\, while also clarifying tools for how to perform with different forms of emotional/performative presence. \nThe set materials have elements of classical ballet\, whereas the scores can be interpreted through any form of dance training. \nRead more about the performance Navy Blue\, that will be performed at Dansens Hus under CODA Oslo International Dance Festival 2023: Navy Blue   \n  \nHilde Ingeborg Sandvold er danser og koreograf. Hun har laget kompanibestillinger for Corpus ved Det Kongelige Teater\, og flere soloverk\, blant dem «Dans\, for Satan» valgt til Aerowaves og Ice-hot 2018 og helaftensverket «GRÅTT» (2021). Som danser har hun samarbeidet med et stort antall koreografer over hele Europa. If dance is a type of language\, how does it speak?\nIn this workshop we will move through a series of scores related to two things: dancing and seeing. We will do this either all together or in smaller groups and will alternate between moving\, writing\, watching and dancing. Our activities might resemble games more than exercises. We will also find time to reflect together: Can a dance be anything ? Påmelding er bindende.\nPåmelding her \nWorkshop med Amala Dianor Kompani: \n  \nAfrikanske danseformer\, kongolesiske dansestiler og musikk\nav Enock Kalubi Kadima aka Brotha.E \nEnock Kalubi Kadima Aka (Brotha.E ) er en 27 år gammel dansekunstner. Han er født og oppvokst i Kongo og flyttet til USA i 2009 og da han ble introdusert for hiphop i 2010\, begynte han sin dansereise. Med sin erfaring i Hip Hop\, House\, afrikansk teknikker\, begynte Enock Kalubi Kadima i 2014 å konkurrere som solist over hele USA og internasjonalt og han har vunnet mange battles nasjonalt (USA) og internasjonalt. I 2016 startet han å arbeide som pedagog og koreograf. \nFokusert på afrikanske danseformer ønsker han i denne workshopen å dele sin kunnskap om kongolesiske dansestiler og musikk\, i en kombinasjon med elementer av hiphop og house\, samt koreografisk materiale fra verket Level Up av Amala Dianor\, der han er utøver. \nWorkshopen er et samarbeid mellom CODA\, Dans Sør-Øst Norge/Bærum Kulturhus og PRODA \n  \nAmala Dianor Company viser forestillingen NEXT på Bærum Kulturhus som del av CODA Oslo International Dance Festival 2023 den 18. og 19. oktober 2023. \nPå denne kvelden med tre stykker av Amala Dianor\, kalt NEXT\, utforsker koreografen ideene om generasjoner\, overføring og arv. \nDen bemerkelsesverdige soloen Man Rec\, fremført og skapt av Amala Dianor\, har turnert verden rundt siden den ble skapt i 2014. Tittelen\, som betyr «bare meg» på wolof-språket\, reflekterer Dianors opprinnelse og danner grunnlaget for denne unike forestillingen. Soloen er en fusjon av ulike danseformer\, fra urbane og moderne dansestiler til tradisjonelle afrikanske danser. \nI 2018 ble Dianor inspirert av en ung danser ved navn Nangaline Gomis som ønsket å lære en del av «Man Rec». Så Dianor skapte Wo-Man – en utvidelse og nyfortolkning av sin opprinnelige koreografi gjennom Nangalines kropp. Ved å tilby et annet perspektiv og en unik vitalitet\, er denne forestillingen en hyllest til mangfoldet av kulturer og påvirkninger som beriker deres kunst. \nFor sitt siste verk\, Level Up\, har koreografen samarbeidet med elleve unge urbane dansere\, bl.a Enock Kalubi Kadima aka Brotha.E\,  spesialisert i den nye dansen som utvikles i undergrunnen\, live og online. Hva er vi villige til å gi opp for å eksistere som en del av en gruppe? \nLes mer om  NEXT her \n  \nWorkshop with Amala Dianor Company:\nWorkshop of African dance forms\, Congolese dance styles and music\nby Enock Kalubi Kadima aka Brotha.E  \nEnock Kalubi Kadima Aka (Brotha.E ) is a 27 years old dance artist.\nHe is born and raised in The Congo and moved to the US in 2009 and being introduced to hip hop in 2010 he begin his dance journey. While being well versed in Hip Hop\, House\, African techniques\, Enock Kalubi Kadima started sharing his knowledge through the US and outside the country in 2014\, competing as a soloist. He has won many battles in the all over The US and internationally. SUMMARY:CODA Workshop: i prosess med Sebastian Tjørstad og Nasser Mhende
DESCRIPTION:Workshopen er utviklet på bakgrunn av stykket «Balance» av Nasser Mhende og Sebastian Tjørstad. De to dansekunstnerne har ulike kropper og fysiske utgangspunkt\, men finner sammen et balansert bevegelsesspråk. Stykket belyser betydningen av balansen i våre omgivelser og hva den har å si for vår livskvalitet. ‘Balance’ handler om å finne en lik plattform for to mennesker med ulik bakgrunn der begge har muligheten til å nå samme mål. Hvordan kan vi bygge opp et samfunn som er likeverdig for alle\, uavhengig av fysikk eller psyke? \nMhende og Tjørstad har unik erfaring med arbeid med utgangspunkt i forskjellige kropper og kulturell bakgrunn. Mhende har studert moderne dans i Zimbabwe og i Norge og har blant annet opplæring i å trene dansere med nedsatt funksjonsevne. Siden 2012 har Nasser jobbet med Sebastian Tjørstad som er født uten armer og ben. De to har sammen utviklet forestillinger og workshops for barn og unge\, og har har hatt flere turneer med DKS Viken. \nDans er et universielt språk og samtidens scenekunst bør reflektere resten av samfunnet. Bør ikke da alle typer mennesker være representerte?\nOverordnet skal workshopen bidra til en mer mangfoldig og inkluderende dansekunst. \n  \n
