SUMMARY:Dansens Hus x PRODA Workshop - Sticky Productions
DESCRIPTION:STICKY Productions invite participants into the sensory world of OOZE — a queer\, tactile and \nimmersive performance inspired by the mating rituals of slugs. Through guided improvisations \nand movement scores\, we’ll explore how to sense\, move and relate beyond the human\, working \nthrough touch\, vibration\, proximity and slow-time. \nIn different configurations of partners and groups\, we’ll dive into elements of our choreographic \nprocess: tentacling\, slug speed and fluid desires. We will explore how movement can emerge \nfrom softness\, skin and fluid connection\, and how attention to texture\, rhythm and closeness \ncan open new ways of moving together. \nThe workshop offers space for curiosity\, playfulness and embodied research\, suitable for \nprofessional dancers and advanced students. Participants should expect physical touch and \nmoments of guided contact. \n  \nAbout the artists: \nSTICKY Productions (Ingvild Marstein Olsen\, Hannah Parsons\, Maria Lothe and Liv Edginton) \nis a collective of queer dance artists based in Oslo. Their practice delves into the bodily and the \nsensitive\, the playful and the peculiar. Using the receptive and expressive body to investigate \ntheir subject matter\, their performances play between literal and abstract to offer audiences \nproximity to imagination and opportunity to kinesthetically absorb stories. Their work OOZE \npremiered at Bærum Kulturhus in 2024\, following their award-nominated children’s performance \nØkohelter (Heddaprisen 2024\, Gulljerven 2023). \n  \nSticky Productions spille sin forestilling Ooze på Dansens Hus 19. – 21. juni 2026.  \nWorkshopen er arrangert i samarbeid med Dansens Hus\, og er endel av Dansens Hus PRO.\nDansens Hus PRO er en bransjeklubb for det profesjonelle feltet.
