STICKY Productions invite participants into the sensory world of OOZE<\/i> \u2014 a queer, tactile and<\/p>\n
immersive performance inspired by the mating rituals of slugs. Through guided improvisations<\/p>\n
and movement scores, we\u2019ll explore how to sense, move and relate beyond the human, working<\/p>\n
through touch, vibration, proximity and slow-time.<\/p>\n
In different configurations of partners and groups, we\u2019ll dive into elements of our choreographic<\/p>\n
process: tentacling<\/i>, slug speed<\/i> and fluid desires<\/i>. We will explore how movement can emerge<\/p>\n
from softness, skin and fluid connection, and how attention to texture, rhythm and closeness<\/p>\n
can open new ways of moving together.<\/p>\n
The workshop offers space for curiosity, playfulness and embodied research, suitable for<\/p>\n
professional dancers and advanced students. Participants should expect physical touch and<\/p>\n
moments of guided contact.<\/p>\n

About the artists:<\/b><\/p>\n
STICKY Productions (Ingvild Marstein Olsen, Hannah Parsons, Maria Lothe and Liv Edginton)<\/p>\n
is a collective of queer dance artists based in Oslo. Their practice delves into the bodily and the<\/p>\n
sensitive, the playful and the peculiar. Using the receptive and expressive body to investigate<\/p>\n
their subject matter, their performances play between literal and abstract to offer audiences<\/p>\n
proximity to imagination and opportunity to kinesthetically absorb stories. Their work OOZE<\/i><\/p>\n
premiered at B\u00e6rum Kulturhus in 2024, following their award-nominated children\u2019s performance<\/p>\n
