Dimitri Jourde \/description of classes:
\n«Coming from circus and after working many years with choreographers and dance, I developed my own vocabulary; a mix of floor work, acrobatics and contemporary dance. For this workshop with a mix of dancers and circus artists I will first make a floor based warmup and then move on to «falling», how to fall with grace, or not, and how to play with gravity. It will be a collective tryout and space to try, fail and have fun.»<\/p>\n
Dimitri Jourde<\/strong> oppdaget sirkusverdenen p\u00e5 Ecole d’Annie Fratellini. Han fortsatte med \u00e5 studere ved Ecole de Cirque de Rosny og Centre National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC). Han har blant annet jobbet med artistene Fran\u00e7ois Verret, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui og Martin Zimmerman, mens han jevnt og trutt har finpusset sin egen koreografiske stil. Med sin bakgrunn fra b\u00e5de dans og sirkus er undervisningen til Dimitri en unik fordypning i gulvarbeid og et m\u00f8te mellom akrobatikk, dans og partnering work. MERGE NORGE viser sirkus i samtid. En scenekunstfestival for nysirkus, en arena for visning av samtidssirkus av h\u00f8y kvalitet. \nMERGE NORGE<\/a><\/strong> er en scenekunstfestival som fokuserer p\u00e5 sirkus, med hensikt \u00e5 l\u00f8fte frem nordiske produksjoner, og internasjonale gjestespill. \u00c5rets festival er den femte i rekken, og arrangeres mellom 13.-19. november.<\/p>\n
