\nWorkshopen kommer ta avstamp i r\u00f6relsematerial fr\u00e5n verket \u2019Le Sc\u00e9nario\u2019.
\n<\/strong>Materialet i verket elaborerar med konstruerad desorientering, sensorisk \u00f6verbelastning, expansion, uppbrutna ansatser som bygger p\u00e5 flera och samtidigt \u00f6verlappande tekniker – en katalysator f\u00f6r komplexa f\u00f6rskjutningar av kroppen.<\/p>\n

Sj\u00e4lva grundf\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttningen f\u00f6r verket \u00e4r att koreografin utg\u00f6rs av att n\u00e4stintill enbart f\u00f6rflytta kroppen hoppandes, att befinna sig i det sp\u00e4nnande \u00f6gonblicket d\u00e4r en glider \u00f6ver golvet och befinner sig >>i<< luften s\u00e5 l\u00e4nge som m\u00f6jligt.<\/p>\n

Huvudsyftet \u00e4r att utforska olika tekniska aspekter av expansivt hoppande, i synnerhet f\u00f6rdjupa oss i hoppet stag jump (hjort-hopp).<\/p>\n

Workshopen er muliggjort gjennom et samarbeid med Ice Hot Oslo 2024 i forbindelse med at Philip Berlin viser sitt verk «Le Sc\u00e9nario».<\/p>\n


\nAbout Philip Berlin’s Le Sc\u00e9nario:<\/a>
\n<\/strong>\u00abLe Sce\u0301nario\u00bb revolves around jumping from the modernist tradition of the 60s and 70s. This blends with post-punk, confetti rain and male renaissance fashion. The work investigates the finale as a format, and aims to create dance of high complexity that addresses the pleasure of jumping expansively across the stage. The work explores the moment when the dancer is >>in<< the air, and is rooted in high frequency dance and interacts with abstraction, sensory overload and expansion: jumping through space with a multiple changes of direction, like deers.<\/p>\n

\nPhilip Berlin
\n<\/strong>Philip Berlin (f. 1991) \u00e4r bosatt i Stockholm och verksam inom dans- och koreografif\u00e4ltet i Sverige och internationellt. Berlin har tidigare visat koreografiska arbeten p\u00e5 bl.a Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la ville, Scenkonstmuseet, Dansens Hus, Moderna Museet och MDT- Moderna Dansteatern.<\/p>\n

Berlin har arbetat med ccap\/Cristina Caprioli, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Gies, Mats Ek och Cullberg\/Riksteatern m fl.<\/p>\n

Berlin har \u00e4ven arbetat f\u00f6r CCN Ballet de Lorraine i Frankrike och dansat i verk av bland andra Merce Cunningham, Mathilde Monnier, William Forsythe, Tero Saarinen, Faustin Linekula och Maria La Ribot.<\/p>\n

Vidare har Berlin samarbetat med Gis\u00e8le Vienne (FR), och turnerat internationellt med f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningen \u2019Crowd\u2019<\/p>\n

Philip Berlin – in English
\nPhilip Berlin was born in 1991 and grew up at Ask\u00f6viken-Tid\u00f6 outside V\u00e4ster\u00e5s. Now living in Stockholm and active in the field of dance and choreography in Sweden and internationally.
\nBerlin has previously shown choreographic works at, among others, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la ville, Scenkonstmuseet, Dansens hus, Moderna Museet, MDT and danced in works by Merce Cunningham, Mathilde Monnier, Cristina Caprioli, William Forsythe, Maria La Ribot among others.
\nHe studied at The Royal Swedish Ballet School and collaborated and toured internationally with Gis\u00e8le Vienne on the production \u2019Crowd\u2019, nominated for the 2020 Oliver Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Dance.
\nAlongside Ulrika Berg, Cristina Caprioli and Anna Grip he initiated the project SUNDAY RUN UP – a context that brought together artists working in literature, choreography, music and art.<\/p>\n
